On the NYSE floor with @newtothestreet and @vincemedia1, Floki's CRO Pedro Vidal explains how the project continues building through market cycles.
The goal is simple: stay ahead of the curve while the industry evolves.
"We don't slow down. We focus on development and innovation to stay ahead of the curve."
About Centralized Exchanges and Oscar’s Fundamentals — A Clarification to the Community
$Oscar is a decentralized token, so please keep that in mind before anything else.
To be very clear and straightforward:
There are no team tokens
There are no tokens reserved for listings
There is no external funding
And honestly, who would even accept a structure like that?
The core of Oscar is decentralization with a strong emphasis on charity. Because of this, all our listings and partnerships so far have happened organically, within the reality of our fundamentals and values.
What does this mean in practice?
As a decentralized token, we always recommend using a DEX. However, for those who prefer to use CEXs, they should be used for what they are truly meant for: trading, not as wallets or long-term storage.
Your tokens should be kept in a cold wallet, fully disconnected from constant internet interactions. These are basic principles and essential advice for anyone new to crypto. If you follow these fundamentals, it is very unlikely you will run into serious problems.
That said, many people in our community often ask:
When will $Oscar be listed on CEX X or Y?
The honest answer is: we don’t know.
We cannot predict this — just as we couldn’t predict when @XTexchange voluntarily listed $Oscar and has supported us ever since, or when @AscendEX_ supported us from the very beginning, or when we received an organic partnership proposal from @BitgetWallet, or a win-win proposal from @Poloniex, and so on.
So why do exchanges list us or approach us for partnerships?
Most likely because they see real value in what we are building and in the potential of our community.
How do we get more listings?
By continuing to do exactly what we are doing now — working with honesty, consistency, and purpose.
We also want to address the massive attacks some people have made against @Binance and @cz_binance.
What can we say about them?
Only words of gratitude.
The @Binance team has always helped us, quickly resolving information issues related to Oscar on Binance Wallet as soon as we contacted them. We spoke directly with @cz_binance, who was kind, asked genuine questions about our community and our token, visited our website, and even referred us to @yzilabs as a promising project.
So the real question is:
What more could we reasonably expect from a CEX?
The reflection we leave here is simple:
CEXs are not bad, as long as you know how to use them correctly.
Most FUD is driven by personal interests, not by facts. So try not to love blindly, and try not to hate blindly either. Just observe, test, and think for yourself.
As a token and as a community, we will continue walking our path — adding value to crypto, trying to give meaning to it, and especially proving that memecoins can be more than zero-value pump-and-dump schemes or enrichment mechanisms for teams that drain their own communities.
With that said, and while preserving these values, we thank all the CEXs that have extended a hand to us so far.
And if any exchange looks at $Oscar, believes in these values, and wants to support this mission — feel free to list us and help us.
This mission goes far beyond our own community.
It is something real.
It is something that makes the world better.
And what can we, as a community, do?
Help these exchanges learn about Oscar and our mission.
And if you are very wealthy and genuinely want to fund a listing on a CEX, please contact our team directly and we will guide you properly.
Do not trust any listing proposal made via Telegram, X, or any other social media without proper and verifiable validation.
Many scammers exploit this exact scenario and create thousands of victims every single day. Some of them even manage to look “verified” in one way or another — which makes the scam even more dangerous.
We have also helped @okx clearly identify this problem and assisted them in improving their verification system, helping to protect thousands of potential victims from these scams.
Hey @okx — take a closer look at us 😄
We are confident that, in time, listings will come.
And if they don’t — which is also their right — we will continue moving forward, building, and staying faithful to the values that brought us here.
@Lexxisbigmuffi Don’t use the word rad much but maybe I should. Reminds me of a time long ago, lol! I will tell you that playing guitar in a band at 40 is better than not playing a guitar in a band at 40.
@lexxisbigmuff I like heavy full tones as well. I was watching a band tonight and realized how much I miss playing in front of people. The thing I thought, they were wearing their guitars too high, little harder to play them low, but it looks way more bad ass. lol!
@elonmusk Not very good at posting shit, if you check out my office space video I just posted pretty much sums up everything you’re doing with the government.
@realOscarRamos1 Good morning! Quick question, got into XPR long long ago and wondered what your thoughts might be, just curious, and thought it might be something you might want to check out.
@Sum41@UEMusicHall You guys should never quit! I’m just some dude that was in a punk band from Montana and I was sitting here watching twist of fade on YouTube and realized what are you guys doing is amazing! You give old dorks like me a little hope!!!!
