This isn’t only about Charles but this whole stroller situation really shows you how mean everyone has gotten on the internet. An expecting father showing excitement about the birth of his baby and he’s being called “stupid” and “performative.” People really need to get a grip.
@noorsbooks Charles’ joked about “practicing with a stroller” in his caption & miserable ppl are joking about how he’s gonna “crash the stroller into the wall” and whatnot
mind you, yall have been claiming he’s a ‘pr driver’ who ‘only posts ads’ but the minute he posts something slightly personal, you behave like lunatics 😭 no wonder he stopped being on socials
I’ve been ignoring the discourse around here cause I honestly don’t have the time or energy but WHY is everyone so miserable when it comes to Charles?? He can’t even make a joke about pushing a stroller without yall being weird about it
Do I think it’s been his worst season? I really don’t know, and that’s just because I can’t recall an entire season of his career where I felt like he was shit the entire year. He’s had some phenomenal performances this year but overall I definitely wouldn’t say it’s his best
I think there’s a difference in saying that 2026 has been Charles’ worst season, and saying that he’s been bad this season. His standards are high, and even his ‘worst’ season is still a very decent/good season as a whole.
yall have never heard of a joke in your lives. He’s obviously pushing his niece around & made a lighthearted joke about ‘practice’ since he’s expecting a child of his own.
16 years ago today, charles won the monaco kart cup, the race that defined his career, as it was supposed to be his last year of racing due to his parents having no more money to support his career
"2010 was the last year my parents could afford a full karting season. that was very very clear. they had even told me that this was probably the last year, unless a miracle happened and some manager picked me or a formula 1 team who would pay for everything. we had talked about it, of course, because the bianchi family and ours were - are - very close, like one family. i had spoken to jules and jules had a manager back then named nicolas todt. so he spoke to nicolas and said ‘look, charles has talent, watch what he does because by the end of the year, most likely the parents won’t be able to support this anymore.’
at the end of that year i won a race in monaco, right in monte carlo, which was one of the important races of the year. after that, i remember nicolas todt calling my dad to ask us to go see him in geneva. i wore a tie, i was super stressed that day, because i knew everything depended on how that meeting went. it all went well, we signed a contract and from then on nicolas took care of everything at his own cost, my entire career."
🤍
Happy 29th birthday, Charles Leclerc.
As Ferrari’s driver he has long made the speed look precise qualifying that delivers pole after pole, and race craft that stays calm under pressure. He became the youngest Ferrari race winner at Spa in 2019, finished runner-up in the 2022 championship, and has collected nine wins and 27 poles across his career. The control never slips, whether the car is quick or the margins are thin.
Wishing you a year that matches the clarity of the work.
Somehow the narrative is that Charles has ultimate power inside of Ferrari due to his relation to the Todt family, yet he’s also going to be sacked in 2028 😭 #howdatwork
