@danreisel @Zudin_P @trishgreenhalgh Yes, and we should not forget the past or excuse it. This does not however reflect the attitudes there now, and to encourage others to believe so I think is divisive and does nothing to improve understanding and reconciliation.

@Zudin_P @trishgreenhalgh I think some find the old Etonian comparison not entirely fair as it implies, completely unjustly in my experience, that many of them are automatically intellectually prejudiced to ethnic minorities. Contradicts the valid point that we should be inclusive.

@trishgreenhalgh As an ‘Old Etonian’ myself I can tell you that if the evidence for said programme was open and clear I would not care who designed it. In fact this is a set of values I was encouraged to adopt in that very institution.
