I migrate around in search of butterflies
Examining every meadow and cluttered skies
Such grace with every flap, I used to hold them with pride
But I can't find them within so I search for them outside
Because the ones I hold within have been smothered inside
We went our separate ways, down different lanes, down different roads, trying to find a new home
Relearning that its okay, you have yourself
Now enjoy the drive alone
We both are progressing forward on the same path
But, Along the way we started running out of gas
The gaslight turned on and we started fighting
Now realizing our paths could have had better timing
We existed on the same world,
Just different dimensions.
How is it, we burnt down both worlds
Then moved onto another,
Without putting out the flames from the last.
And in your hardest times, when you are the most broken
Your beauty glows the brightest
A shimmering light, illuminating from the cracks
An aura that radiates throughout the room
Appears dim to those unworthy
But to those that see the flare to your light
See the struggle that dims you
Whenever darkness overtakes and your light starts to fade
Remember, you are not alone
You are burn't out
Let me help you change the lightbulb
Two broken people, helping each other pick up the pieces
Gluing them back together
Take my helping hands, lets fix each other
Because more hands make less work
One million things right, just one in the wrong
Bad moments are like picture frames we hang on the walls
We learn from the mistakes, that's what makes us strong
Look back on the memories that make life long
-Learn from your mistakes
To see what makes you worse, what makes you great
What makes you laugh, and what makes you ache
What makes you real, what makes you fake
Good or bad I'll love every trait
What's in your heart?
We have all the time to operate
To dissect your heart
And examine the shape
To chart the diagnostics
And keep the beat on pace
To understand what separates you apart
from the rest of the world who hates
