Not long now until @PoetryAldeburgh festival 8-10 Nov. I'm excited to talk about being part of @poets4theplanet and to read from my latest poetry project. The theme of the festival is WATER and so I will be sharing how my project on WASTE responds to an idea of water poetics.
So excited for this year's poetry festival #aldeburgh. Fantastic line-up, exciting workshops (see programme at link below). And a privilege to be part of the first evening's opening events with @poets4theplanet exploring the festival's water theme. Tickets and passes going fast!
This #UNWorldOceansDay we're sharing this collaborative poem written at Marine Studios in #Margate during April's #FirstFridayMargate. We urgently need to awaken new depths to support our oceans to support life. Visit a river or ocean near you, take time to connect and write!
Happy #WorldEnvironmentDay!
But the news isn’t so happy when it comes to our planet. Ecosystems are at risk around the world.
The good news is that everyone can part of #GenerationRestoration and make a difference today & every day: https://t.co/7G9J6TG5K9
