The Song I Finally Understand

Hearing the news about Dolly Parton today took me immediately back to my mama. One of Mama’s favorite Dolly songs was “Coat of Many Colors.” But now, as I find myself nearing 70, I understand so many things differently now.
They Never Mentioned the Dragon…Somewhere along the Catawba River in NC, long before Missouri… our families traveled that same water.History tells the journey. It just never mentions the dragon (No one ever admitted who packed it.)Sarah Poff
