@peter_levy not many people in Lincolnshire can afford a £5 a day cup of coffee so your throw away comment about weight loss pills pricing is way out of touch I’m afraid!
@MartinSLewis Completely agree anyone who wants to be a politician in this failing in swords and no learning from mistakes culture along with need for secrecy and professionalism is destroyed by swing of power at a pin drop because of all media including socials.
@BBCBreakfast@jonkay01@hzeffman So much for standing and fighting. What a fool the Labour Party is what’s destroying itself no one can have any faith in them now. Keir has had 2 years nothing in government moves that fast not most of the things he’s put in place will now be claimed by his successor
@BBCBreakfast 3/3 if you measured home makers tv/radio/internet usage it would be 12 hrs a day most of that background use while ironing etc. Children multitask too. More importantly 12-16yr olds the target audience here are children like Kier and I were in the 70s & 80s life has changed.
@BBCBreakfast 2/2 and like all tools it’s needs training and safety gear. The expansion of distractions is good but so is understanding the young lad had 8hr screen time at 7:30 in the morning how is that possible, it’s not the measuring is flawed.
@wesstreeting What the country need is a government working together for the best of the country not a bunch of in it for themselves people that think they could have the backing of the country when they clearly can see the message being sent to them it’s we don’t trust politicians
@BBCBreakfast@UKLabour members need to act as a team in the best interests of the country. No more self first, no more escaping consequences by falling on swords. Do what’s best for the country now which is shut up and get on with the job you were elected to do. You’re 2/5ths in not 5
@BBCBreakfast I’m not a fan of Kier and his apparent lacking leadership but he is not why people have little faith in Labour! If anything his morals and taking responsibility speak louder than previous ministers of all colours. The age of falling on swords and lack of accountability has gone!
@bbcpress So pleased it’s return though I’m not sure a feature film is what most people want. I for one want more series. International offshoots have filled the gap and features length are good but it’s not what we love and that’s a good old comfort infotainment series.
@BBCBreaking@BBCNews Changing the chef or the captain of the ship only confuses the issue it’s like getting rid of the barrel that contains a rotten apple it’s doesn’t fix or even address the problem it just swaps it out for a new barrel that more than likely has a similar or worse issue!
@BBCBreaking@BBCNews@BBCNews stop pushing the fall on the sword narrative it serves no one. If people knowingly have done wrong they need to atone for it. If people have done wrong unknowingly or after being deceived they need to opportunity to make things right.
@GMB@LouisaJamesITV Online bans don’t work they’re easily bypassed. Phones and the internet are tools, people especially young people should be taught to use them safely and schools are one of the safest places for teens (and younger)) to learn. It’s also where most problems are identified early.
@BBCBreakfast Same with new communication cables it maybe cheaper and quicker for telecom companies to put up poles every 40-60 meters but cheaper doesn’t mean better for the purpose they’re being installed for!
@BBCBreakfast With many homes in the Midlands without power and the region soon to have a huge increase in new above ground power cables isn’t this with the greater likelihood of similar or worse weather events a good case for power new cables to be under ground as to have better protection?
@BBCBreakfast I’m sick of the constant benefit claimants bashing by the tories. Most of the people on benefits are hard working people or have been and can no longer do so. We all pay NI contributions to insure us for such times! Land owners and farmers yet get calls for increased benefits!
@Susie133904@BBCPolitics@BBCNews Nope not really it wasn’t a leak it was a technical error they happen. I’ll wait to see what impact it has before deciding how important it was. Many have leaked things on purpose and have been allowed to resign so even proper leaks aren’t usually taken to seriously.
