The Pohatcong Township Office of Emergency Management has declared a Snow Emergency due to the potential for severe winter weather associated with Winter Storm Fern.
🚗 IMPORTANT REMINDER: Per local ordinance, all vehicles must be removed from snow-covered roadways. Parked cars significantly hinder snow plowing and emergency response and create additional safety risks for everyone.
🚨 Hazardous Road Conditions – Pohatcong Township 🚨
Due to the ongoing snowstorm, road and driving conditions throughout Pohatcong Township are extremely hazardous, with especially dangerous conditions in the southern end of town.
Tomorrow, Friday, December 19, 2025, JCP&L will be closing Pinchers Point Road between house numbers 62 to 75 from roughly 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm. Please plan an alternate route during this time.
