The park offers many family-friendly activities including beautiful sunsets and a large sandy beach on Lake Huron, camping, hiking trails and playgrounds.
🎶 The trees are alive with the sound of bird calls 🐦
Spring is an excellent time to camp! The weather is warming up, trees and flowers are in blossom, and the birds are busy nesting. Lots of campsites available Sunday-Friday's.

🎉It's time to shell-ebrate World Turtle Day! 🐢
We are home to painted and snapping turtles.
Help keep turtles safe by driving slow and keeping your eyes 👀 peeled. They will be crossing roads as they look for food and places to nest.

👀 Can you see me?
🐸 This gray treefrog has excellent camouflage.
Unique features include colouration changes based on temperature and light and increase in glyserol levels to prevent freezing in winter.

Should you bring a floatie to the beach? 🏖
🦄 Floaties are not a great idea for parks.
🌊 Lakes are unpredictable, with strong currents, waves, and breezes.
Water safety is your responsibility.
Stop by the park office to borrow a PFD.
