🌡Soil temperature matters more than the calendar! Before you seed, check your temperatures and plan.
❄️Cold tolerant:
Oats, wheat and barley (5°C)
Peas (5°C)
Flax (3–4°C)
🔥Need warmth (wait for 10°C+):
Canola (10°C)
🌱 Seeding into cold, wet soil increases the risk of seed rot and disease and seed treatment is highly encouraged!
TIP: Measure at seeding depth both morning + evening and average the two. Do it across the field, not just one spot.

Gourmet greenfeed! 🌱🌾
This triticale under-seeded rye grass is our first VR field of the season to come off. The 46-0-0-0 went on with precision so we could maximize the bovine buffet this is headed for.
Before: Yikes
After: Yay!
Is fungicide worth it even on a less than ideal year? We will let you decide!
This field had precision fungicide where it mattered most, but the ROI is still applied to the whole farm. 🤑

1.5 mile runs on almost 1000 acres in 1 field gives you lots of time to appreciate those Peace County views (or to solve that crime on the 18 hour podcast series you're listening to.)
Seeding is extra busy this season and our team is swamped, so we brought in some interns to help us with the long hours.
If your prescriptions show up in Comic Sans, you know who to blame.
If your prescription delivery didn't come with freshly baked cookies, it might be time to switch to Point Forward Agronomists. @ChadAndrukow was up early baking for his customers—because great service should always come with a treat.
🧤 Gloves as custom as your seeding rates!
Our precision agronomists and tech teams are all out in the fields these days, getting your prescriptions set up, fields scouted, and still finding time to work on potential hand modeling careers.
