Johnny (The Bastard) Hastings here, sharing Point Hammered & Point Radio podcast, and personal junk. Expect AoS, Infinity, 40k, and other stuff I get into.
@wayneypoooh I'm game to return to it, not sure where Rodge is these days. Also, I couldn't talk sensibly about games I haven't played in forever, so the subject would have to be more generic, unless I took up Olde World. The latter tempting, but time and peace around here are slim these days
Another great classic read! Kang and the 1st Dragonarmy Engineers are the best. This book even has all the rules in the back to use dracos in D&D, which was also a fun read through.
Another basement book read! This book felt rushed, poorly edited, and hardly proofread. I also think the writing itself was lackluster and not fitting for the characters at times. That said, I love this book. Kang and the boys are fun to read about, and are bad ass evil killers!
Finished another classic last night. Been reading through these one last time, and tossing them on eBay if I don't feel they're work keeping. This was ok, took some interesting turns, but overall I wouldn't read again.
Any one interested in one of these? Pelican 1510, excellent shape. You'll need foam, as it's all been customized for my beasts. I will include it though, so it may work for you. Taking offers from needs before messing around with eBay on it.
Nice little side read here, thanks to a former Point Hammered listener. Loved the 40k and AoS stuff, it was a nice change from the Heresy stuff I've been on for years. #blacklibrary
One more story about marines battling dinosaurs, and I'm done with 40k novels altogether. Turns out dinos are rather prolific in the galaxy. I give this overall a 4 out of 10. Solid meh. It actually repeated short stories from previous novels. #horusheresy#blacklibrary
