@MikeFromHouston@LivingGodsTruth Yeah I happen to believe the message is important, so I'll retweet it everywhere I can. Thanks for helping with engagement!
To the Christians in Texas:
James Talarico voluntarily turned the Texas Senate race into a referendum on God.
And this November, if every single God-fearing, Bible-believing adult in Texas does not RUN to the polls to stop Talarico from becoming a United States Senator, then what in the world are we doing as people who call ourselves Christians?
Talarico intentionally made Christianity part of his platform as a way to appeal to Texans. He promoted himself as a Presbyterian seminarian. He uses the name of Jesus to sell his political positions.
And his political positions make a mockery of Scripture.
Plenty of politicians these days share Talarico’s radical leftist views, but none have so brazenly attempted to dress up those views in a Christian faith.
Talarico hollows out the Bible and wears Christianity like a skin suit while he dances around the political stage pandering for votes. And he plans to get away with it. And if Christians stay home because they don’t want to vote for the other guy, Talarico just might get away with it. And then, he’ll continue to spread his sacrilegious lies from a much larger platform.
So this is no longer just a political contest we can ignore. This is a line in the sand.
Because Christians are supposed to call good what God calls good and evil what God calls evil.
Like for example, God is not non-binary. He is our Heavenly Father. And God was clear about creating two genders: male and female He created them. And a God-ordained marriage is between one man and one woman. And God is the author of life, including that of the not-yet born. And we should not be celebrating drag queens who cause little ones to stumble, lest that millstone be hung on our own necks. And we should love our neighbors by loving our neighbors, not by sending more money to the federal government to waste in vain attempts to make socialism work this time.
So while the other guy is an adulterer, his political platform is not that God says adultery is good. And while the other guy may have corruption skeletons in his closet, he isn’t trying to convince Texans that the Bible is actually pro-corruption. So we can lament the state of our politics and the character of our politicians, but all of that, right now, is entirely irrelevant.
Right now, it is time for Christians to stand up and say that we’ve had enough blasphemy for one campaign season, thank you very much.
It is time for Christians to vote for the other guy, so that we can stop the heretic from publicly making a mockery of our God in the name of Texas.
Because one of those two men will become a United States Senator, and if you stay home because the other guy falls too far short of the mark, then you are effectively voting for Talarico, the man who will sink that mark down into the gutter and then look you directly in the face and tell you God wants it that way.
Talarico is desperately trying to play the Christian card. He has overplayed his hand, but will he get away with it or will Bible-believing Christians call him on it?
Forget political policies, will we even defend truth?
Talarico, the Presbyterian seminarian, has performed one true miracle. He has made me an enthusiastic voter for the other guy.
And come November, I sincerely pray that you will join me.
“Islam is not a religion that stays in the mosque. It has its own view of what government should look like, what society should look like, what culture should look like. And that view looks a lot like accommodation and obedience.
It looks like submission.
I prefer freedom. For it is for freedom that Christ has set us free.
So you can stick your head in the ground and ignore the ideological contest happening all around you or you can stand in the middle of the metaphorical battlefield and yell "religious freedom!" over and over again, but it would be much more helpful if we all ran to the light of the truth, stood firmly upon it, defended it at all costs, and invited anyone and everyone to join us.”

“Those beliefs that so-called liberals love to throw around like freedom of religion and separation of church and state did not just grow on a tree. Or rather if they did, it was a tree with roots in the Bible not in the Quran. And so as they sit up in that comfortable tree of Western civilization and ignore foreign countries deliberately funding the spread of Islam into our cities, as they pretend not to notice Michigan turning into Mogadishu, as they turn a blind eye to the foreign-funded mosques popping up in the streets of New York City — the same streets that were once shaded by the shadow of two very tall towers — they should take note that the religious freedom branch on which they so proudly sit is the first branch sawed off in an Islamic civilization.
So it's kind of time to wake up.”
@MikeWingerii People have fought so hard against the influence of Christianity in politics without any real appreciation for the reality of what civilizations look like when Biblical truths are absent.
