Asked @backquant for a Sierra-style footprint yesterday at 11:19. Woke up this morning to “it’s done.”
Thats exactly why his platform made my daily rotation and the others I used to pay for didn’t. He actually listens to traders, and he ships.
Was at the cafe and heard a boomer say "millennial slacker". Five minutes prior he was talking about how all his friends left their wives for AI girlfriends in 2024
$BTC
NY session move looked mostly like shorts getting squeezed, price +1.5% while OI dropped around $135m, with ~$42m in shorts liquidated.
since the close OI is already rebuilding though, +1.3% while BTC is another ~0.5% higher.
front-end vol has cooled right back off too. 1d IV around 27%, down ~10 points on the week, with skew basically flat / calls slightly bid now.
one bigger hedge did show up further out, 300x Dec 82k puts bought against 300x 82k calls sold.
so the near-term downside panic has mostly disappeared, but there is still some protection being carried further out
AAPL and NVDA are now free to try on the terminal, alongside ETH.
ETH’s still live and free. AAPL and NVDA come in as of the previous close, so you get the full options read on both, the options profile, walls, gamma levels, the strike ladder and key levels, drawn right on the chart.
two of the most-watched names in the market, free to look at
and some other updates come with it, a quick thread:

New Week/ Pre-Asia
bitcoin:native nice bounce, spot CVD moved back up while OI stayed basically flat, longs were added and shorts came off.
options are still paying up for downside into the week though.
BTC front skew is around +2.8%, put IV 34.8% vs calls 32.0%. EOW flow is slightly defensive too, around -$2.2m net calls / +$0.9m puts.
$IBIT has seen a bit more downside protection added, around +$1.1m net puts across this week's expiries and +$3.3m across all expiries. front skew +3.5%, with puts 35.1% vs calls 31.7%.
would read that more as downside insurance into the week than outright bearish positioning for now.
vol compass is interesting, gm
bitcoin:native $IBIT
tomorrow will interesting with CPI + Anthropic showing Q3 numbers to investors.
in short, people are paying for downside into tomorrow.
BTC 0DTE puts are heavily bid, 25d skew +3.1% with put IV 24.9% vs calls 21.8%.
$IBIT front expiry looks similar, 25d skew +2.9% with puts bid.
further out is a different story though, around +143k calls net bought with ~48k puts net sold across the rest of the week.
near-term hedging into the event, but not really the same defensive positioning further out.
I’m also better at every measurable thing on this planet than you. As a fact. U can keep ur high IQ. Try buying ur mom a new house with ur 130iq points faggot. They aren’t worth anything.
