@them_failure in defense of this, the game was made first in Japanese without a plan for an international english release
then it got an international english release and it became the most obvious shit ever
realistically, what were the localizers supposed to do? have her write in japanese?

@catchomania nah bro 2k26 was actually really fun. the MyRise was bad, but the new weapons, physics, and mechanics are all really fun to use.

@ForeignFeral genuinely just start a 2k26 universe mode series, book like 7 or 8 matches a week, gets your creative juices flowing and you dont even need to play the matches, you can just watch the matches and still get xp. its what i've been doing since 25, and once i get 26 i aint stopping

the only major downside so far is no crossplat, and dont get me wrong, its a MASSIVE issue that means i would need to buy a 170+ dollar PC to be able to play with my friends
but other than that, it actually looks... good?
