During the 2024 Teraleak it was revealed all character models in Pokémon Masters EX are scaled to fit into a set of categories with minor adjustments for each character.
The categories are:
- Child
- Boy
- Girl
- Man
- Woman
- Man (Tall)
- Woman (Tall)
- Special
"How accurate in size are these models?"
Sadly, these aren't made to be scale-accurate.
Here's a comparison between all of the characters with a "canonical" height (from sources coming from concept art and the like), and as you can see it's not consistent between characters.
Pokémon Masters' model Trivia:
Red (1996) has a yellow Poké Ball logo stamped on the back of his jacket obscured by his bag, as seen in some old Ken Sugimori art.
(This detail was not present in Pokémon Let's Go)

Pokémon Masters' model Trivia:
Skyla's model includes a bag mesh that goes completely unused.
The origin of this bag appears to be a direct reference from her concept art and has only been featured in a TCG sleeve by designer Yusuke Ohmura.

@thosebeez They're technically still "Girl" as they are closer in size to other Girl characters than actual "Child", which is already fairly broad since it includes any character smaller than "Boy" or "Girl" (Youngster, Poké Kid, Preschooler, etc.)

Mystery solved: It was just a test asset while trying to nail down how to unify the often-clashing designs of the characters over the generations
Problably not meant to appear in any future update...

@PeteSauceToon It's explained on the QRT: the model in the screenshot is from a prototype build, they debated whether the characters should stick closely to the source material or if they should "adapt" them as to not cause an artstyle clash (even if it meant it was less "faithful")
