Ethan’s Ho-Oh full art has been quietly climbing and nobody’s talking about it. raw copies are still reasonable for what this card represents in the set — legendary bird, gorgeous art, strong Johto nostalgia pull. this is a grade-and-hold for me

unpopular opinion: not every SIR is worth grading just because it says ‘special illustration rare’ on it. character and demand matter way more than the rarity tag. some of y’all are sending in cards that’ll never be worth the grading fee. do your comps FIRST

real ones know Team Rocket’s Moltres ex SIR is criminally underpriced for what it is. this card has the artwork AND the character appeal, raw sitting in the low $100s while SIRs like this usually climb once supply dries up. adding this to my grading pile this week

quick update on the Mewtwo ex gold Hyper Rare I flagged — went and checked comps again this morning and raw is still holding in that same range while PSA 10 sales keep coming in strong. this is exactly the kind of spread you want to catch early. still not too late on this one
