Is there any penalty for a league or store NOT hosting quarterly Pokemon league cups? Like if they have regular league, prereleases and challenges…just not hosting the cups?

(This is assuming the behavior of the game stores involving the withholding of the staff promos is the reason behind this change)

Really sucks if the rumors are true about Pokemon no longer having staff promos for prerelease. What’s the incentive for staff? The promos were the main reason. Why not just punish the stores that have been withholding the promos, or send directly to the judges after the event.

I feel i should add that I’m aware proxies are not allowed in sanctioned events. This poll is strictly about casual events.

Maybe I’m being unreasonable, but do you think proxies should be allowed in casual, non-sanctioned events where you pay an entry fee and get packs for prizes? I’m staunchly opposed, as i feel if you pay a fee or get any compensation (points, prizes) it should be real cards only.
