@BobMatherPoker@FreezeoutPoker@WSOP And in the NFL the players get 48% of the leagues total defined "All Revenue"
My question is...what do the players get back from the WSOP being on ESPN? What percentage of the rake does the WSOP give back to the players each year? How much do they make in revenue each summer?
@jeffplatt@TheBestPanda00 That's not really answering my questions. But I guess the player experience at the WSOP will be secondary to the viewer experience. I can't say I'm surprised.
@jeffplatt@TheBestPanda00 Why should the viewer experience be greater than the player experience who paid $10,000 to enter the Main Event? Can you please answer that question besides it's in the rulebook. Would love to hear an explanation.
@ChancesCards I've said it before but the WSOP is the biggest name in poker and unfortunately the worst brand in poker. I worked for them for 3 summers (22-24) worst poker company I've ever worked for. They don't really care about the players because they keep showing up each year.

@Table1Vegas Can you PLEASE run some $200 (or $220, whatever rake they need) SNG style 6 handed one table satellites and I'll play 5-10 just to win my seat in the $1100 event!
@style_pokerlife I'm so sorry this happened. A clear lack of concern from WSOP and Paris/Caesars as this shouldn't happen. Please play elsewhere. Wynn $5/$10/$10 game has chips with a very clear color contrast between $500, $1000 chips $5K chips. It's not your fault this happened.
@shiina_pkr@pokerorg Unfortunately a lot of media (including poker media) don't report thoughtfully and respectfully. It's all about views/clicks/$$ Congrats on your success in this event the last 3 years and GG π«‘ Wishing for your continued success in poker!
@Protentialmn As a former WSOP dealer (22-24) I believe upper management at WSOP doesn't care that much because players are still going to show up because of the brand WSOP. It's the biggest name in poker. Nothing will change unless players stop playing because they got your rake $$$.
@Nick_Palma1010 As a former WSOP (22-24) I believe upper management at WSOP doesn't care that much because player are still going to show up because of the brand WSOP. It's the biggest name in poker. Nothing will change unless players stop playing because they got your rake $$$. It is sad.
@Nick_Palma1010 Sadly players need to STOP playing at the WSOP. I've said it before and I'll say it again, the WSOP doesn't care that much because the players keep showing up. Why change if you're the biggest name in poker? They got your rake $$$. I dealt for WSOP for 3 summers, awful business.
@Saymour34@shaundeeb@WSOP I USED to work for WSOP. From 2022-2024. In 2024 dealing a daily deep stack event I was suiting decks on break and found 2 clearly marked Aces. Asked for a floor, they said "We don't change marked cards unless a player requests it" I was shocked and disgusted. Never again.
@Saymour34@shaundeeb@WSOP Having worked for the WSOP for 3 summers I can tell you the WSOP doesn't care that much about the dealers because...the casual players and the pros keep playing. Some great dealers work for WSOP, they work restarts and mixed games. Good luck finding great dealers in a $500 event
@TristanCre8ive I can assure you after working for them for 3 summers from 2022-2024 they don't care that much. Is it's super hard what they do, yes! But why do they need to run daily deepstacks each day with poor quality dealers? Because they have the demand. It's economics 101.
@LeeBBury@WSOP How to solve WSOP dealer problem: Stop playing WSOP events! You degenerate players keep showing up to the WSOP every year paying high rake to have dealers who haven't dealt one hand of poker before the WSOP. It's pathetic. But nothing will change unless players stop playing.
@RobKuhn_ Why give the press who's disrespecting you publicly by talking about them. Ignore them and you win! All publicity is good publicity! Media cares about views, not the actual news.
@Sandrettooooo Sadly players need to STOP playing at the WSOP. I've said it before and I'll say it again, the WSOP doesn't care that much because the players keep showing up. Why change if you're the biggest name in poker? They got your rake $$$. I also dealt for WSOP for 3 summers. So bad!
