A Very Furry 2024: An Appreciation Post 🫶

On January 1, 2024 I launched the complete overhaul of my branding, debuting my fursona in the process. I had been streaming for about 4 years at that point, and had curated an amazing community. I was fearful at how some people would react, especially the "ride or dies" that had been there since the start. Not only that, but I had my coworkers AND immediate family watching LIVE as it went down as well.
It went better than I could have ever hoped. People were so accepting, loving, and uplifting. Almost immediately I started building new relationships within the fandom that have flowered into a network and community that is actively thriving and growing, with no plans of slowing down either.
Whether or not you were there on day one, I want to say an all encompassing thank you to everyone I've had the pleasure of meeting this year. It has been the best of my entire life with really no close second.
That being said, there are some people I would like to specially thank that have played major roles in my journey this year...

@p1xelpengu1n - Man... where do I even start? You were the one I worked with to bring Pokey to life. You are responsible for the monster that has since wreaked havoc on this fandom. Your guidance and overall presence in my life is what I'm most grateful for. You are the first person I met in the fandom who I felt a deep connection to. You are incredibly understanding, patient, smart, and are a beast in the kitchen. I'm so proud of what you have done for yourself, even in the short year I've known you. Thank you.

@jikerdor - It was the FIRST stream I had ever done with the "furry" tag, and you showed up and invited me to a furry Fortnite tournament you were hosting. Accepting that 3rd to last spot in the tourney was the best decision I could have made. The connections I made from that event were absolutely incredible. This was the first time I could truly network with other people from the fandom. Jik, you have an UNRIVALED ability to tell stories. Your content was and continues to be a major source of inspiration for me. I am forever grateful. Thank you.

@KyTwitchVR - You are so incredibly knowledgeable and driven. You showed me the ropes of VR when I was just starting out. You selflessly helped me get and customize my first avatar, and even helped me with some of my streaming assets. Being in those calls and watching you in your element as you worked was enthralling. You are so good at all you do, and I have learned so much from you. I must also say this, despite your inability to accept it: You are cute. In all seriousness though, thank you.

@BinjiBinturong - Your support over the time I've known you has been ceaseless. You were really the first regular in my comment section when I was just starting out on furry TikTok. You are honest to God one of the people I look up to most since joining the fandom. Not to mention your artistic abilities. You are, with complete sincerity, one of the most talented artists I've ever seen. You are also incredibly strong. I know life throws it's fair share of crap at ya, but you just keep kicking and making those amazingly goofy videos. Never change, Binji. Thank you.

@TheCoffeepawt and @WolfieWitchShay - You guys have become family. I still can't believe it all started with a goofy dog coming across my TikTok feed. What started out as a chance interaction on social media turned into one of the most treasured relationships I've ever had. You guys have supported me in ways I could have never imagined, let alone asked for. You guys have the most beautiful life together, and I respect the hell out of y'all. Getting to meet you earlier this year was not only a highlight of 2024, but my life. Though short, that weekend will be a core memory for as long as I live. I can't wait to hang out with you guys again soon. I love you guys so much. Thank you.

Lastly, I would like to express my undying thanks to my family. None of them use this platform, so I can't tag them, but nonetheless I am so incredibly blessed to have such a supportive and functional family unit backing everything I have ever done and continue to do. I know this isn't very typical for stories like this, and I do NOT take it for granted. I love you all so much.

I appreciate you all so much, and am so excited for the years to come. I think my best furry adventures are the ones that are yet to come.
