In East Sussex, there’s been 103 reports of collisions with deer since last October. Collisions can kill the animal, injure the motorist and damage vehicles.

Cuckoo Trail: Mill Lane in Hellingly to Shawpits Bridge temporary closure.

This section will be closed from 1 June to 12 June inclusive for resurfacing and widening.

The alternative route for walkers in both directions is to use public footpaths Hellingly 61b and 72a.
