SLP, Immigration and ACC personnel, with support from EU and INTERPOL, commenced 5 days training in Ftn. on Data Quality Management System under the West Africa Police Information System (WAPIS) prog. for S/L. Personnel will be trained on how to collect, store, and share data.

Following his appointment by H.E the President and subsequent approval by Parliament, Mr. William F. Sellu has taken the oath of office today (22/08/22) @ State House as IGP. He pledged to execute his duty with diligence and to restore confidence in the SLP.

@TheAlima Probably, you misread the tweet or giving it a different twist. What is wrong with having people to help fight youth crime; given the obvious fact that that grouping itself is youth dominated? In community policing drive, you work with different classes of people to fight crime.
UNICEF on Tuesday (16/08/22) donated two brand new ves to the Family Support Unit (FSU) of the SLP. Receiving the ves, on behalf of the SLP, the IGP - Mr. William Fayia Sellu thanked UNICEF for the gesture and promised that both vehicles will be used for their intended purpose.
