There is a powerful movement of working class people in the state of Maine, and millions more across America who are ready to send a progressive fighter to the Senate. I’ve been fighting for that movement my whole life — and I’m sure as hell not backing down now, when this fight is needed most.
I’m in. And we're going to defeat Susan Collins. Maine deserves a Senator that will fight for working families.

@SimoneKanter Team Goldman AND a Man United fan. You really make a habit out of being a delusional sucker, Simone. Goldman will go the way of Amorim. In the meantime, release some internal polls.
@peppercoyote@TheFlamour Most importantly, Bernie didn’t seek DSA’s endorsement opportunistically. Meanwhile, Chi failed to choose between Jefferies and his anti-Zio opposition even last year
@peppercoyote@TheFlamour Wouldn’t you agree that those are two very different races?
Bernie entered a far more favorable playing field (espec. in 2020), was established as a socialist, generated indispensable downballot momentum for DSA’s other campaigns, and, vitally, lacked the same opportunity cost
@TheFlamour@peppercoyote Chi is, of course, free to prove me wrong, and Godspeed to him if he can put up a good challenge. If DSA-NYC votes to endorse, he’ll be our candidate and I’ll stick my neck out. Til then, it feels like he’s trying to personally advance off of the Mamdani win
@TheFlamour@peppercoyote This is it ^ DSA NYC already has two more congressional races to run, and they never do simple paper endorsements. It’s a resource allocation issue. Between that, Jeffries being popular in his own district, and Chi not being a cadre DSA member, I don’t know why we’d spend on this
