This morning, our Chair @stephen_dorrell, was live on air speaking to both Good Morning Britain and Sky News about the 10-Year Health Plan announcement.
See what Stephen has to say below👇
'Is the money there, doctor?'
@edballs and @kategarraway discuss the government's 10 year plan for the NHS which Labour created back in 1948 with NHS Dr Emeka Okorocha who believes Labour has what it takes to deliver and former Conservative Health Secretary Stephen Dorrell who says he hasn't heard anything in the plans that he didn't suggest himself years ago.
It's expected to include shifting care to the community, more GPs and making it a service fully available six days a week.

We're live at the #PatientSafetyForum!
The @Jeremy_Hunt has kicked off the day underscoring that although we have come a long way in improving patient safety and standards of hospital care, since the pandemic, issues around patient safety in the NHS are worsening.
He highlighted 4 key areas of change needed to drive improvements:
1️⃣ A system for the prioritisation and accountability of patient safety recommendations for the NHS
2️⃣ Looking overseas to Japan and Sweden for example, to take lessons on clinical negligence reform
A report published by @Policy_Projects says that community pharmacies should be contracted to deliver structured medication reviews to lessen pressure on the NHS

Our first panel focused on busting common sustainability myths and tackling misconceptions relating to sustainable estates. Panellists called for robust metrics to measure NHS progress on sustainability and #NetZero
Our #SustainableEstatesConference is underway. Leading experts in sustainability, NHS estate, and public sector infrastructure have been debating #NetZero and climate mitigation strategies for core public sector infrastructure.
🔴 NEW Report: Improving Cancer Pathways
Chaired by @GilsRosenberg, Cancer Innovation Lead @NHSEngland, it highlights:
➡️ Better IT & data sharing to boost efficiency
➡️ Patient-stratified follow-ups & EPROMs for improved care
➡️ Scaling digital tech to ensure equitable access
Key takeaways:
1️⃣ Digital tech must extend beyond centres of excellence.
2️⃣ Barriers like NHS interoperability and fragmented patient records hinder progress.
3️⃣ AI tools can optimise capacity and decision-making but must scale.
We’re excited to welcome Rt Hon Jeremy Hunt MP as the keynote speaker at the #PatientSafetyForum!
