Leaving out food stamps (which aren't part of the Obamacare / healthcare discussion), we have some common ground. I knew we would.

Decoupling health insurance from one's employment would be a big culture shirt, and I think we need it. Ma Bell is gone. Cradle to grave company employment is gone. The modern economy has moved past that model.

All by itself that would make the ball of change start to roll.

Government set this mess up -- and I am 100% positive we'll agree that it's a mess.

It's naive to think there's no role in this for government. Government has to change / rewrite / relinquish control over (pick your ideological direction I don't care) the current system.

So what's the damned plan?? I don't care how you're coming at it politically. Articulate something.

Concord needs to return a fair share of business revenue to the towns, and it needs to fully fund its fiscal commitments.
Schools need to get more aggressive about reducing administrative overhead and right-sizing.

Two things can be true at once.
