Sweden investigates election rigging by Somali networks, which could cause a re-run election in a region. It’s quite possible that two seats could flip in that election, changing the total result to 175-174 and handing power in Sweden to the right-wing coalition

The 30-year-old Somali migrant Mohamed Abdukarir Ali, who was granted citizenship just earlier this year, received 648 votes and unexpectedly won a seat in the Swedish parliament for the far-left Left Party.

Now, suspected electoral fraud in Borlänge is under investigation, and the police had people under surveillance who were giving members of the Somali community money and ballots for mail-in voting pre-filled with his Mohamed Abdukarir Ali’s name.

The young Somali man barely speaks any Swedish and used to share an apartment with a man, rumored to be a relative, who is deeply involved in an organized crime group behind many of Sweden’s gang shootings.

Despite practically not reporting any income, the new Somali member of the Swedish Parliament often traveled to Somalia for meetings with government representatives in an effort to sell technology for e-banking and e-voting.

🇬🇷🇮🇱 The Israeli and Greek navies conducted a joint exercise in the eastern Mediterranean involving two Israeli missile boats and two Greek frigates. The forces trained to identify and counter maritime threats conduct search-and-rescue operations and respond to emergency scenarios.

Personnel were also exchanged between Israeli and Greek vessels to improve interoperability and share operational experience. The joint exercise is being conducted amid heightened tensions involving Turkey, although the stated purpose was strengthening bilateral naval cooperation and readiness.
