@NotoriusNormani Clinton blew the election all by herself. Merely 25% of voters who chose Stein would have picked Clinton over Trump in a two-way race. The elite Democrats are aware of that, which is why they oppose RCV and would rather bully, shame and blame to try to quash alternatives.
@KimWilsonAuthor@ninaturner What "greater purpose" has Biden served?
As polls have consistently demonstrated for over a year, most Democrats and the vast majority of voters don't want Biden. If he is not a narcissist and believes his own rhetoric about the stakes in this election, why is he a candidate?
@davidmweissman The only votes that can help Trump win are votes cast for him.
If Biden is in serious danger of loss to Trump, the logical course of action by the DNC is certainly not to A) violate its own bylaws to declare Biden has already been renominated, and B) cancel the primary in FL.
@JenTusch@davidmweissman In Florida in 2016, had all 64,399 votes for Stein been transfered to Clinton, Trump still would have carried the state by 48,512.
Rather than scapegoat voters for an eighth year, you would be better off if you were to finally admit Clinton blew the election.
@TruthOuter@biserka30048567 The exec. committee of the Democratic Party of Florida canceled the Democratic presidential primary in that state.
So much for "democracy."
@newrepublic The polls have long found a vast majority of voters (including ≈½ of Dems) don't want for Biden to seek re-election.
Rather than schedule primary debates and let voters decide, the DNC—in violation of its bylaws—crowned Biden the nominee and merged w/ his campaign.
That's how.
@newrepublic The exec. committee of the #DemocraticParty of #Florida canceled their state's Democratic presidential primary for 2024.
So, spare us from your pretended concern about "threats to #democracy."
@BooBoojr4now @crystalsloth @PlaceboJones@Michael_Z1012 Neither does Biden.
“[T]he atty. gen., …when he introduced the Patriot Act…, said, ‘Joe, I'm introducing the act basically as you wrote it in 1994’…
“Almost the same thing that passed—the Patriot Act—was introduced by me in 1994…”

@BooBoojr4now @PlaceboJones@Michael_Z1012 He is the kind of person who is acceptable to the Democrats. Otherwise, they would nominate a candidate who is actually formidable.
Do you finally have an explanation of how Trump "would destroy any chance of having a credible election again"?
@BooBoojr4now @PlaceboJones@Michael_Z1012 I thank both major parties.
The Dems had 2 yrs. to repeal Trump's tax cut but did not.
Obama in 2008 said he would sign a cancellation of the remaining 2 yrs. of Bush's tax cut for the rich. Post-election, Obama reversed his stance. In '10, he signed an extension of that cut.
@BooBoojr4now @PlaceboJones@Michael_Z1012 I remember a candidate for past Democratic nominations who broke records for grassroots fundraising. But the Democratic Party was more eager to stop him than they were to stop Trump.
@BooBoojr4now @PlaceboJones@Michael_Z1012 record-high of $1.08 trillion, and the message from the Democratic Party is, "The economy is great. You just don't know it."
A political party that truly wants to win would have a different approach. (5/5)
@BooBoojr4now @PlaceboJones@Michael_Z1012 he were president. He was aware a pool reporter was in the room.
Biden has kept his promise. Meanwhile, the longest-ever delay of an increase in the nat'l min. wage continues, the segment of workers who live paycheck-to-paycheck has risen to 62%, credit card debt is at a (4)
