It's not enough to show that the stmt was false; they must prove that the person knew it was false/ acted with reckless disregard for its truth. Candace clearly believes her reporting to be true. This standard will be incredibly difficult to meet.

@charliekirk11 He will still face trial eventually. He’s only being sent to the psych hospital temporarily for his competency to be restored. He is so mentally ill that he can’t understand the nature/ charges against him & can’t aid in his own defense. This happened in the Lori Vallow case too
