In order to truly practice self-reflection, you need to have the ability to practice humility.
If you spend your career getting shuttled in black cars to and from a makeup room to a studio where you’re prepped by a team, and you never leave your elitist bubble, you will never see the error of your ways. CNN did tremendous damage to America during COVID, and continues to conduct reputational harm to this day because they will never admit the truth about their own culpability. Their shameless, smug, ignorance continues.
We sent our 52-page autism study directly to RFK Jr...
Days later, the CDC changed its website to say: “The claim ‘vaccines do not cause autism’ is NOT an evidence-based claim.”
The 30-year lie that “vaccines don’t cause autism” has officially been TERMINATED.
Our peer-reviewed study found 79% (107 of 136) of vaccine-related studies showed a POSITIVE LINK to autism, neurodevelopmental disorders, and/or brain damage.
Autism prevalence skyrocketed 32,000% as vaccine makers obtained full liability protection and the vaccine schedule grew to 72 doses.
I have been a reader of @countyhwy, "America's Only Newspaper", for about a year now, but I only realized its true value today. I have always been a reader, and initially subscribed to support those who feed my appetite for good writing. In our increasingly fast-paced, constantly-stimulated environment of phone-mediated entertainment, County Highway is a call to slow down, to pay attention, to absorb.
Too often I scroll X in search of a post to act as a salve on some itch in my mind. But afterwards I find that itch has been scratched so much that it has become a festering wound.
Reading a physical medium with a limited number of options to choose from forces me to not only expand my mind into new territories, but to go deeper into the mind of the writer. There is no opportunity to "reply" in hopes of some shallow, validating "like". And without that possible stimuli, my own mind slows down and allows new information to pour in where it might otherwise be set aside to an infinite scroll.
I enjoy County Highway on a Sunday afternoon in the quiet before the chaos of another week begins. Today, I found myself reading a long article by Amanda Fortini (@amandafortini) on flower essences. I would have undoubtedly scrolled past this on X. It's a topic I had no awareness of or interest in, for that matter. Now? I'm intrigued, but moreover, it was a window into another person's soul beyond the restrictions of character limits or attention spans.
In a world of infinite options, I find myself often opting for a very narrow band of topics. The "limits" of a physical medium are paradoxical. The newspaper is constrained by both time and content, but it somehow opens my mind more than the allegedly boundless online world.
There's wisdom in taking a sabbath and it pairs very nicely with reading in the physical form. County Highway has become a nice Sunday tradition for me.
I have no reach on this platform, so this won't increase subscriptions, but let this just serve as a thank you to the writers and editors.
The insinuation is that once a war begins, any means necessary to secure the enemy’s capitulation (whatever the cost in the lives of U.S. soldiers or Iranian civilians) are legitimate; and that a volunteer army may legitimately be used for any purpose a president gets it into his head to use it for. These appear to be common attitudes. They are not just mistakes, however, but deeply evil attitudes. Civilians do not lose the right to their lives, property, and the necessities of everyday life just because they find themselves caught between two warring governments. And public authorities have a grave moral obligation to deploy their soldiers only in conflicts that are actually in the nation’s interests and otherwise meet just war conditions. This obligation doesn’t magically go away merely because the soldiers in question joined voluntarily.
They are reconfiguring under pressure. They think it will work. They think the timing of their backpedaling seems natural, not forced on them by recent revelations. They have gotten away with this for years and think they always will. They believe they have reality on a leash.
CNN’s Dana Bash: “I also don't want to use this interview to allow you to say things that aren't entirely true. It is also factually true that the COVID vaccine worked. The COVID vaccine prevented deaths. There is data, upon data, upon data.”
HHS Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr.: “You think the COVID vaccine protected children?”
Dana Bash: “I have talked to scientists and doctors…”
Robert F. Kennedy Jr.: “Can you show me one study that shows that children were protected by the COVID vaccine?”
“That that vaccine did more good than harm to children? Can you show me one study that shows that?”
Dana Bash: “There have been studies that show that, because of vaccine disinformation, there could have been 100K to 200K in the U.S. saved But because people didn't get the vaccine, that's why.
Robert F. Kennedy: “You are saying nonsense. You are saying something that you cannot show me a single study.”
Dana Bash: “Excuse me! Excuse me!”
Robert F. Kennedy Jr.: “Cite me the study that you’re talking about. You said you’ve seen studies. Cite me the study.”
Dana Bash: *Can’t cite the study*
Robert F. Kennedy Jr.: “You're talking nonsense. You're making assertions you can't support, and then when I call you on them, you're telling me I'm arguing with you.”
Kennedy gave a MASTERCLASS on how to handle FAKE NEWS CNN.
All this migrant chaos unleashed on Spain by US and Israeli-backed Morocco reminded me of the time that Zelensky threatened to weaponize Ukrainian refugees against Europe if the West stopped cutting his checks
@honestpollster When you realize mass migration and forever wars are the two sides of the same coin it all makes sense. People are so polarized they see one as good, the other as bad, when the net effect is the same--to weaken the American people and diminish their power while enriching others.
@GenFlynn@NiohBerg Not one way or the other. We need to finish this by immediately ending the stupid, unnecessary, and unconstitutional war we should have never started.
@joekent16jan19@barnes_law It’s not complicated. It would take strength and courage but it’s not complicated. He can end the war today by ordering withdrawal of the US military and bringing Netanyahu to heel. If Netanyahu won’t comply, cut off US funding and publicly denounce him.
To a reader, the tone of AI posts stick out. Not talking em dash, it's a feel that you get from reading widely. It's deeply insulting to see this slop everywhere. It's also not fooling anyone. It's not persuasive. Just says, you're a scammer / scum.
For two thousand years, Jewish tradition rejected the glorification of the sword.
The ideal was the scholar, not the warrior.
Zionism reversed this.
It turned military strength into a supreme value and rewrote Jewish character in the image of European nationalism.
The sword became a virtue.
Torah had taught the opposite.
Zionism is not Judaism.

@SeanParnellASW This is horribly offensive to the Bible, the Church, Christ and humanity. How dare you use our faith to fulfill your bloodlust! I rebuke you in Jesus name, demons!
He's dead right. The boys and girls down on Wall Street and the homegamers listening to Jim Cramer actually believed this was rational and sustainable only a few weeks ago......Tulip bulbs, anyone?!
