Polk County Fire Rescue (PCFR) is a division of the Polk County Board of County Commissioners. PCFR provides fire, EMS, emergency management, to Polk County.
Polk County Fire Rescue recently recognized members of its Community Emergency Response Teams. The 296 CERT members contributed more than 13,300 volunteer hours during the past year. Their efforts help Polk County recover in the event of an emergency.
Polk County Fire Rescue and Davenport Fire Department members came together to help the community during Water Safety Month. The members spoke with residents about pool safety and provided free pool alarms, door/window alarms and educational material.
