Ready Steady Grow is a biennial event held in a variety of Pollokshields’ greenspaces (usually) on the first Saturday in June.

Busy afternoon at Proud of Pollokshields. In less than 45 minutes, we gave away over 200 plants in window boxes and hanging baskets.

Come along on Saturday 10 June (tomorrow) and pick up some bedding plants from our stall for your window boxes, hanging baskets and front gardens.

We will start at 1.30, near Square Park, Pollokshields.

Ready Steady Grow dropped off bags of daffodil bulbs with new head teacher Miss Smith to give to pupils at @pollokshieldsps.

Hopefully the bulbs will be planted in gardens, pots on window sills and empty land, so we can all enjoy spring colour in Pollokshields early next year.

Ready Steady Grow Pollokshields is giving away bags if 10 daffodil bulbs at the corner of Keir Street and Leslie Street TOMORROW (Sunday 10 Oct) at 12.

Come down say hello and pick up a bag to plant at home or somewhere in need of colour come the spring.
