I promise I'm not on a commission from @DMLiveWiki but LOOK AT THIS. Taken from a Whistle Test segment in 86, this is Fly On The Windscreen from the Black Celebration tour and it's just GREAT, both performance and quality. Full video here 👇

Hello lovely people. This post below is from my 'other' account, ie it's ME. And I don't know why it didn't occur to me to RT through this one but it just has. So - any Bob Dylan fans out there can help?
[old fart rant]
Why does absolutely everything on the internet slowly get worse? Depeche Mode YouTube is a nightmare now, just endless shorts of stuff you've seen, reaction videos from idiots and awful 'fan' remixes with 11 views. And this place? Argh.

What's the best Depeche Mode album for singing along to? So not necessarily the *best album* but the one you like to really belt out. In my mind there is a clearcut winner (and yes it is one of the options) but you may beg to differ...
(Live albums and compilations not allowed..)
@Elnita2 I'm sorry to hear that... There's nothing quite like it, I don't think. But I'm lucky, lots of family and friends and lovely people on here like you!
My dad died a couple of weeks ago. Today I was doing a barbecue for my family and my mum. A beautiful sunny day, Depeche Mode playing. Ghosts Again came on and it absolutely broke me into a million pieces but, if this makes any sense at all, in a good way.
Time is fleeting.
Everything Counts at Crystal Palace. I sometimes get annoyed with old shaky camera footage but not here because it absolutely reflects what was happening. Complete bedlam.

We all know Depeche Mode sampled John Bonham’s huge drum sounds from When The Levee Breaks for NLMDA. But go and put Houses Of The Holy on and tell me if it reminds you of anything. (No, I’m not suggesting they sampled it…)
@Wolfofthemasses@paehoo Well in fairness the riff is on Martin's demo - and it's clearly played not sampled. So I'm not suggesting they lifted this, just wondering if Martin used it for a bit of inspiration...
