It’s OT Week and we are celebrating all our Occupational Therapists and the difference they make to people’s lives.
OTs help people who have difficulties carrying out day-to-day activities because of a disability, illness, trauma and ageing. Thank you to our OTs! #OTHacks
Last month I finally had my graduation!🎓 Almost a year after I graduated. I had the best three years at university, experienced some amazing opportunities and made the best of friends. Excited for the future as an OT💚 @OBU_OT
Big welcome to our new rotational therapists to join team stroke today. Spend the next 6 months asking lots of questions and learning from those around you. We are excited to see you all develop and progress @Gloshosptherapy#strokerehab
First rotation complete✅ 6 months working in vascular surgery with the CCSR team, it’s been such a good learning experience with such a great team and I am very thankful to have been a part of it! Onto the next - stroke! @Gloshosptherapy 💚💙
The University extends its deepest condolences to the family and friends of Aoife Beary, who passed away on 1 January. Aoife was studying Occupational Therapy and was a diligent and popular student. Our thoughts are with her family, friends and everyone affected by this sad news.
Meet newly qualified OT @PollyB_OT! Polly has contributed so much already towards OT week and has made these fab posters to capture what OT means to her! @theRCOT@Gloshosptherapy#OTweek2021
It was so lovely to meet our new cohort of physiotherapists and occupational therapists today! Great session on their preceptorship day. Fantastic new preceptorship booklets! We are so excited to follow this cohort on their newly qualified journeys 🤩
Very powerful, very emotional, very grounding. A place to focus, reflect, mourn, & appreciate the sheer scale of loss within the NHS - thank you , you will never be forgotten
