@backpainandwine I'm sorry. It's just rubbish. My mum died in January, there was recently a letter from HMRC giving her a new tax code because her 'circumstances have changed' . Be kind to yourself x
@edwinhayward I had a 4 year old and non sleeping 2 year old. Obviously he chose that night to sleep for four hours....I didn't. I stayed up by myself, had 2 hours sleep and it was absolutely worth it. Next day the feeling of lightness was palpable.
@diervilla I don't know.....we've gone from learning about 'Its Good to be Me' in 2008 to this. When I taught year 6 so many of the girls had started their periods. It's almost as though they hate young people.
@diervilla Exactly. Young children not being taught about bodily autonomy, how to keep safe or say when you are not, how to have healthy relationships etc will cause so much harm.
@ChrisHawke15@dave43law Steady on, knitting is way beyond her, as a veteran knitter I can attest that it requires an ability to read often complex patterns, do lots of maths to make sure it's going to be the right size and knowledge of suitable yarn. Plus pointy sticks are not a good idea.
@i_iratus I'm so sorry. We lost my mum in January at the age of 75 after living with dementia for 14 years. She just stopped eating and drinking. We were offered a hospital admission for her. We refused. I will never not stand by that decision. Advocating for your dad is the right thing
@WendyPMitchell Sarah and Gemma, so so sorry for the loss of your mum, so glad she was able to take control and make her choice. I lost my mum to dementia last month and I wish with all my heart that she would have had the choice. Your mum was right, it's a choice that we need to fight for x
