@yaneerbaryam It speeds up the process and makes it a smarter lockdown than just a hard lockdown. People only have a limited amount of patience and the effectiveness is very important so that the lockdown can be for the shortest period.

@JeffDean It is sad that the states with the most cases per capita seem to be states that overwhelmingly voted for Trump. In fact sorting by cases per million shows that 17 out of the top 20 covid states voted for Trump. And one of the three blue states is tiny Rhode Island (plus IL, WI)

You might recall that Trump won 10 million more votes than last time and still lost to Biden by 6 million votes (popular vote count). A lot of people voted in 2020.

@MaajidNawaz @tedcruz You only dispute things that are reasonably disputable. Say a 500 vote difference in a tipping point state like Florida in 2000. When you have lost multiple states by tens of thousands of votes then disputing is irresponsible, childish and a waste of national resources.
