Veteran actor Sello Maake kaNcube has rejected and distanced himself from a controversial honorary doctorate awarded by Trinity International University of Ambassadors.
His foundation says he accepted the honour in good faith and was never involved in the institutionโs accreditation or operations.
The foundation now wants a public clarification, an apology, and is consulting lawyers over the reputational damage he allegedly suffered.
The issue is no longer just about a title, but about dignity, fairness and the public humiliation of a respected South African entertainment legend.
Mel Gibson spent $70M of his own money making two consecutive films in languages nobody on Earth speaks conversationally. They generated $733M at the box office.
The Passion of the Christ. Aramaic, Hebrew, and Latin. $30M self-financed after every studio in Hollywood passed. Gibson marketed and distributed it himself through Newmarket Films. It opened on Ash Wednesday 2004 and grossed $612M worldwide, held the domestic R-rated box office record for 20 years, and remains the highest-grossing self-financed film in cinema history. His personal take cleared $400M.
Two years later he did it again. Apocalypto. Entirely in Yucatec Maya. $40M budget. Zero Hollywood actors. His lead, Rudy Youngblood, was working at a Lowe's in Texas when Gibson pulled him from a general casting call. Youngblood had less than a month to learn Yucatec Maya, performed every stunt himself including a 175-foot waterfall free fall and sprinting in front of a live 200-pound jaguar. The stunt coordinator called him "the purest athlete I've ever met." The film tripled its budget at $120M worldwide.
The part nobody talks about: the language barrier was the competitive advantage. When your audience can't understand a word of dialogue, every frame has to communicate through blocking, expression, sound design, and camera work. Both films play identically whether you speak English, Mandarin, or Swahili. The subtitles are almost beside the point.
Two dead languages. Two unknown casts. $733M. Gibson funded every dollar himself because nobody in the industry believed the math would work.
The math worked.

If you are blind and get Elon Muskโs Neuralink implant , you might start seeing . You are deaf ? It can make you start hearing .
Your brain becomes like a machine ๐ฅน๐คฆโโ๏ธ. Is Elon testing God ? Or itโs just science ?

Moral lesson : Whatโs the side effects ?
This is not Michael Jackson, Jaafar or Fabioโฆ this is Sergio Cortรฉs, the man many people believe is the closest Michael Jackson lookalike ever ๐ณ๐ฅ
His resemblance to MJ was so unreal that Michael Jackson himself reportedly recognized him and even used him as a body double/decoy on several occasions including during his wedding period with Lisa Marie Presley to throw paparazzi off ๐
From the face to the walk to the stage presenceโฆ bro looks like MJ respawned ๐ญ๐

RickRoss wants to demolish his $100 million dollar Miami mansion and rebuild it . He bought the land for over $20m and used $80m to build it .
He wants to demolish and build something that looks even better .
Why will I have a mansion that looks like this and still want to bring it down ? Money is truly good

Tyson Fury gifts daughter Venezuela and new husband Noah a staggering ยฃ5million wedding present, but sticks to his iron-clad rule that NONE of his seven children will inherit his ยฃ148million fortune.
The Gypsy King and wife Paris also paid for the coupleโs luxury ยฃ30,000 Marbella honeymoon and gave them a traditional gypsy wagon as a sentimental gift.
Despite the huge cash splash, Fury is clear his kids must stand on their own two feet.
He previously said: โI want my kids to get their own money, do their own things and be their own people. I donโt believe in just giving all your money to your kids.โ
Fury believes big inheritances make children โweak, spoiled and worthlessโ so heโs determined they learn hard work, dedication and sacrifice.
