We updated our browser extension that lets you quickly open URLs and links in Polypane!
A big theme in our survey was about lowering the friction of opening Polypane. Now the extension shows an on-page button for all local pages, making it super easy.

If the button is in the way, you can quickly collapse it, so it's still there when you need it, just not as visible.
If the top right corner doesn't work for you, you can place it in any of the other corners or fully hide it from the extension menu.

Polypane has pixel perfect social media previews for ten different social media platforms. That's already much more than any other tool out there.
But Polypane is the kind of app that goes to 11. π§βπ€
So we're adding WhatsApp in the next release.

Except the fix for macOS autoupdate didn't work.π¬ So we also released 28.0.3 to fix that π

When working on your own site in Polypane, you probably want to exclude your visits from your analytics tool.
We made a list of analytics tools and how do to that directly in Polypane or in their settings. If your tool isn't listed, let us know!

Did you know you can right-click any element with an ID to get a link to the document fragment? And just as easily have it formatted as markdown?
One of the many things that takes dozens of steps in other browsers that takes two clicks in Polypane.
