At the end of the grape hardest we always have a weird feeling. We are happy to know that the grapes are safely stored in the cellar, but on the other side, we are sad and a bit nostalgic because the best part of the season is coming to an end.

It's a pity you can't smell it. It's so parfumed! This is wild fennel growing spontaneously here in Pomaio.
We need to harvest it, let it dry and after we are going to separate the inflorescence from stems.
It takes so much work to get just a few grams!

Two heavy full baskets of blackberries growing wild in our property, and it is just the first harvest.
We are now using our last jar of blackberries jam from last year during the wine tastings, but I'm don't worry... There will be much more to come in the next days!
