Apart from the fact that you violated multiple laws, the one that is the most disturbing is that in the FIVE hours you ignored hundreds of stranded travelers you failed to make ONE announcement about it. It's also against the law. @AirCanada@TorontoPearson
Multiple Canadian laws broken by @AirCanada while they stranded passengers at an airport with no communication, food, water, or overnight accommodations:
After being locked inside the @TorontoPearson airport (seriously, we were led out through an emergency door at 11 pm), passengers on @AirCanada trying to use the service desk phone to call to be let out of the airport. Violated multiple Canadian laws. https://t.co/OyBX39Lebz
We need someone to come and talk to us. Passengers are jumping behind the empty counter in a desperate attempt to get someone. Two employees seem hovering above, but NO ONE has come to talk to us. Passengers are getting desperate. @AirCanada@TorontoPearson
At this point we are effectively stranded in a completely empty airport. We have been told NOTHING. The passengers are trying to call emergency numbers. No one is coming for us. @AirCanada@TorontoStar@CTVToronto@CTV
After 5 hours of no communication, a single @AirCanada official showed up to simply lead us out of the airport. No hotel help after stranding us overnight, no dinner voucher, nothing. Just "see ya later", feel free to submit a hotel refund request through customer service. @CTV

The entire plane has been waiting for 30 minutes. The airport is fully closed. There are no employees of any kind that can be seen except for a janitor. @AirCanada@TorontoPearson@CTV@CTA_gc
After leaving us in the dark with no news, then canceling the flight, @AirCanada sent everyone to their customer service counter. It's empty. The airport is closed. We have no food and soon won't have a way to get into town. @CTA_gc@TorontoStar@CTV
Your complete disregard for keeping passengers updated and showing basic human respect to those traveling with you has been noted and will forever be remembered. Never again. @AirCanada
All the passengers who were held at the airport for hours have been canceled on and told to go to the customer service counter for forget arrangements. There is no one there...@AirCanada@TorontoPearson@TorontoStar
It has now been THREE hours with ZERO news. The airport has no food and everything is shut down. You have effectively stranded hundreds of passengers. Why can you not use a PA system to provide updates? @TorontoPearson@AirCanada@CTV@CTA_gc
@TorontoPearson@NateCroc You have provided ZERO communication, we have seen exactly ONE staff member in the entire terminal in THREE hours. Asked what's going on and were told they are too short staffed. The airport has a PA system... you can make an announcement in two seconds.
