Last evening at #KIU, we were able to meet with the great fratenity of KIUASA! Kampala International University Acholi Students Association

Where w had a great engagement on unity, culture & mobilization for the Inaugural Pongdwongo Convention scheduled on Oct 3 at Makerere CTF2.

The meeting was a very productive one and we were so happy for them to host us.

On Saturday, we had a great engagement with our brothers & sisters at UCU where we shared the vision of Gure me Pongdwongo & the Inaugural Students' Convention where by the team was led by the Chairperson #AMSA H.E.@Ol@OloyaB84784

YOU MIGHT BE ASKING YOURSELF WHAT IS PONGDWONGO? ALRIGHT HERE IS A BRIEF ANSWER TO YOUR QUESTION.

After the LRA war & 20+ years in camps, Acholi society was left with deep socio-economic and moral scars.

Gurre me Pongdwongo is a non-political, Pan-Acholi initiative to confront this collapse (Too Paco) and restore our dignity, culture & economy - Rocco Paco.

The Students' Convention is here to bring university students together to be part of that restoration.

Because the future belongs to the youth.
