And we didn’t reach the goal.

I’ve been sitting with that for a while, trying to find the right words — and honestly, I’m not sure there are perfect ones. But I want to say this clearly, from the very bottom of my heart:

Thank you for reading about Witch BIBI. Thank you for believing in this story. Thank you for every comment, every share, every message of encouragement. Whether you pledged, followed along quietly, or simply cared from afar — thank you for being here.

Because of how Kickstarter works, this was an all-or-nothing campaign. Since we didn’t reach the funding goal, no one who pledged will be charged.

But here’s what I’ve been thinking about.

1,717 people said yes to this story. That’s not nothing. That’s 1,717 people who looked at Witch BIBI — a painter who lost his way, a witch looking for a broom — and thought: I want to see where this goes.

I still do too.

I’m not ready to let this story disappear quietly — and I want to be honest with you about what comes next. Making Witch BIBI requires funding, and I’m not ready to give up on that. The Puuung Happy Mail Club is something I’ve wanted to build for a long time, and this feels like the right moment to start. Every subscription is a small step toward making Witch BIBI real.
