Because of the disjointed, disorganized, and inept Democratic response last night, I am going to remind everyone of a plan I suggested weeks ago. Reality is that the Republican majority is 100% unified behind the current occupant of the White House and against Democracy. Democrats can no longer be disjointed and disorganized if they have any chance of defeating this. It is time for them to reorganize. The House and Senate should work together. Every Democrat must come to understand that they currently have ZERO legislative authority. Truth is, with the exception of critical votes, they have no need to be in DC. Free yourselves and stay in your communities and states as much as possible. Hold as many town halls as possible in your districts and in Republican districts as they no longer will. Most importantly, stop with you internal factions and become the Pro America/Pro Democracy party. Invite independents and former Republicans to join you. Select the best person from within the party and elected, or not, to function as a Press Secretary. Select the best person to address economic issues. Select the best person to address foreign policy issues. Select the best person to address domestic issues such as safety. Select the best people to speak for this Pro America/Pro Democracy approach and defer to them and take direction from them. Create a messaging war room. The fight for Democracy is a big fight to be had but worth the fight. It will require unity and strength. Get it together today.

As I said in the last sentence of my book Find The Helpers "To the future leaders and heroes, you will have many moments in your life, some bigger than others. Ultimately, what matters more than the moment is how you respond to it. How you respond to your moment when it comes is what will define you."

We are at that moment. The only thing that matters now is what you do next. We need heroes and leaders to step up. Democracy depends upon it.
