Buying a pons token normally means sourcing ETH first. PonsUSD is live and it doesn't: hold USDG, buy the curve, the gas comes out of the same balance.

The dollar coin layer for @ponsdotfamily
14,096,700 pUSD now sit in the burn address. That is 1.41% of supply, and it was 10.5 million this morning.
Read it off the contract yourself, it's a balance like any other.

Before posting: re-read the burn balance, it moves. balanceOf(0x…dEaD) on the token.
Worth saying plainly, since our own board says it in the footer: graduation only confirms the curve sold out. It is not a quality signal, and anyone can launch a token under any name.
We index everything the factory emits, including the junk. Filtering it for you would mean deciding what you're allowed to see.
Robinhood Chain isn't only launches. Tokenized equities and ETFs trade here in ordinary pools, next to the memecoins, on the same board.
That's why the pairing thing matters. When the quote asset is a real instrument, "priced in QQQ" stops being a gimmick and starts being a denomination choice.

590 ETH is sitting in the pons fee escrow right now, accumulated across every launch on the chain. About 1.4 million dollars at today's mark.
That's the fee layer of a launchpad most people outside Robinhood Chain have never opened.
Before posting: re-read the escrow balance, it climbs. 0xd3AFEB2a57f70eF218Aa82451c51B2fb0416Ac9e
Third most popular thing to price a pons launch against, after ether and dollars, is QQQ. The Nasdaq 100 ETF.
130 of 829 launches, 15.7%. That is more than NVDA, SPY, GLD, SPCX and GME put together.
People are launching tokens denominated in the Nasdaq and nobody is talking about it.
Out of 90 launches on the board right now, five are genuinely near the line. ComPons at 87.5%, Grok City at 62.9%, then a steep drop to 43.9%.
That's the whole shape of a launchpad in one screen. A long tail that never moves and a handful with real momentum.

829 launches came from 577 distinct wallets. So the median launcher does it once and leaves.
The busiest single wallet did 22. The top five together account for 81. It's a much flatter distribution than the "it's all bots" reply guy assumes, though the bots are certainly there.
The single most interesting number I have. Lead the night with it.
I pulled 829 consecutive pons launches off the factory and checked how many actually made it off the curve.
14. That is 1.7%.
The other 815 are still sitting there. Graduation isn't the normal outcome, it's the rare one, and no launchpad interface tells you that while you're looking at a launch that is 3% of the way there.
Why your wallet mispriced pUSD earlier: graduated pons launches live in Uniswap v4 pools behind a custom hook, and most routers either don't index v4 hook pools or can't route through them. So they fall back to a stale feed or a shallow lookalike pool and quote you nonsense.
We had the same bug. Ours hardcoded an empty hook address and could not quote a single graduated launch. Fixed, and it now reads the pool key off the factory.
If you are building on Robinhood Chain, that's the trap
We built a wallet for this.
Self-custody, Chromium, keys generated and encrypted on your device and never sent anywhere. It exists because every other wallet assumes you hold ETH before you can do anything, and on Robinhood Chain you shouldn't have to.
Hold USDG. That's the whole setup.
Same idea one layer up. Buying a pons launch with dollars, on mainnet, nothing cut.
2 USDG in, 592,973 tokens out. The curve is priced in USDG so there was no quote asset to go source first. One approve, one buy, about thirteen cents of gas.

A wallet holding zero ETH, sending money.
3.94 USDG in the account, no ether at all. Sign two messages, the relayer submits the batch and takes a flat 0.1 USDG inside the same transaction. Balance goes to 2.34. No bridge, no top-up, no second asset.
Your wallet never broadcasts a transaction. It only signs.

Good morning ☀️
We're working on some cool features to make PonsUSD the main stablecoin layer on Robinhood.
Tonight we're shipping our first update, thanks to @ponsdotfamily
Every pons pairing is sized so launches graduate at roughly the same amount of money. 4.2 ETH. 8,090 USDG. 41.6 NVDA. Same finish line, different unit.
Which is exactly why a board that doesn't convert them is unreadable. Two launches at "60% to graduation" are not the same size unless someone does the conversion.

A curve buy on Robinhood Chain costs 134,365 gas. At 0.26 gwei that is about nine cents. The approve in front of it was four.
The reason people skip small launches was never the fee. It was having to go acquire the right asset before they could touch one.
A token priced in Tesla stock, twenty seconds old, three rows below one priced in ETH and one priced in dollars.
pons lets a launch quote against any approved asset. That has been true for a while. What was missing is somewhere that reads all of them in the same column.

The strongest post in the set. It shows you know the system cold, and it is a
real exchange, not a manufactured one.
Someone asked why their wallet showed 70% price impact selling pUSD.
It wasn't the pool. The wallet valued the input at 3.7x the real price, then measured a perfectly good output against its own number. Real slippage on that trade was 0.42%.
If a number looks insane, quote the pool directly before you believe the interface.
The flywheel is on.
No new fee. Every $pUSD trade already pays the 1% pons base fee. Half of our share now goes to the built-in buyback instead of us: 0.35% of every trade buys $pUSD back, enforced by the hook, locked five years.
Most launchpad feeds quote a market cap and quietly mean fully diluted supply. PonsUSD reads total supply and burn balances off each contract and shows the two separately, because on PONS they differ by 29%.

@2147_Million Fully, we're doing our best to push this as long-term as possible. It's a bit sad seeing people fudding while team is working on pushing updates..
Buying a pons launch with dollars. Recorded on mainnet, nothing cut.
2 USDG in, 592,973 tokens out. One approve, one buy, about thirteen cents of gas. No sourcing the quote asset first, no bridge, no second balance to top up.
The transaction is on Blockscout if you want to read it.
