Great turn out at athletics club tonight despite the heavy rain! A wonderful afternoon competing in a mini indoor Olympics. All the children had lots of fun and the staff even got a little bit competitive too. Mrs Nixon, Mr Baggett, Mr Bodley and Mr Burgess.
Glenn McRory visited school today to congratulate this term's Headboy, Headgirl, Deputy Headboy and Deputy Headgirl and prefects and gave them their badges!
Mrs Weare writes, “I saw some great teamwork on the assault course. The children did the course twice - the second time they carried a welly full of water and were challenged not to spill any!”
“The nightline activity took place in Ford Castle’s beautiful gardens. The children wore dark glasses to block their sense of sight, and had to rely on their other senses to navigate the obstacle course,” writes Mrs Weare.

Y6 Geography have been playing with playdoh modelling the features of a river from source to mouth, great fun was had in the lesson and the finished results were amazing. Thank you to Mrs James for recording their success.
On Friday 5 April we had a Hats On Eat Cake day raising money for the Brain Research, Diabetes and Cerebral Palsy. Over £1400 was raised for the three charities.
