Control of information is the ultimate weapon.
But only if we blindly accept what is presented to us.
Ask the hard questions. Seek the facts behind the narratives.
Think free!
Spring Break is officially over tonight. Somehow I feel more drained now than before.
Much that needed to be done. Much still left undone.
I think I need a break from my break!
My insomnia paid off a couple nights ago, when I was up to see the lunar eclipse blood moon, conveniently visible directly over my home.
Nature is truly amazing!
It's midterms week already. Less than fun.
But this weekend is the start of Spring Break!
Then, just two months of classes left.
(Until summer session, but I'll worry about that later, after we celebrate the start of Spring!)
I blinked and suddenly it’s February 11th. Already!
I missed posting the final day of the 29-Day Life Reset. 😳 Life and college courses happened.
Such is life! So for the final day, I offer you this:
Practice grace with yourself. Much is unpredictable, and the point of this 29-Day Life Reset is to lay the groundwork to minimize the impact when the unexpected happens.
When you expect the unexpected, it’s much easier to bounce back, to be kind to yourself, and to press ever onward.
Take your last day of this Reset to review the list, identify what you haven’t done yet, and prioritize those things you find value in doing.
Set aside 30-60 minutes each week to work on those items.
- Subscribe to Pontifica's Musings for free to receive a consolidated 29-Day Life Reset Guide (release date 15 Feb 25) to use for reference whenever you want! https://t.co/x5vnrqQcil
Recruiting an accountability buddy also helps - for this or any other project that will take a bit of time.
A friend and I have a standing “meeting” every Saturday, currently, we’re working on paper purging. We send each other before and after pictures of our progress each week. I’ve done more with that languishing project in 6 weeks than I did in 6 months before we started doing this together.
Thank you for following this little journey with me!
Finally, a new year! Let's do a 29-Day Life Reset to kick off 2025.
No personal transformation promises here - just life stuff we must do.
Why 29 days? Because we all deserve the first 2 days of the year for holiday recovery.
I'll add to this thread each day.
Complete each item whenever you want, in no particular order, as long as everything is done by midnight, 31 Jan.
Let's begin! 🧵
Day 28: Gather your tax documents.
All entities were required to provide you the necessary documents by 31 January.
Gather what you have, verify accuracy, and contact providers if anything is missing.
- HR&Block provides this handy free checklist to ensure you have everything you need: https://t.co/a1sAMncb06
Block out time on your calendar to do your taxes ASAP if self filing, or schedule an appointment with your tax preparer.
Get it over with, and enjoy your Spring without the dreaded Tax Day looming!
If this "art" replaced "white people" with any other demographic, it would be labeled a hate crime.
The double standard is disgusting.
Can we please get back to respecting everyone as our fellow human beings, appreciating our differences, engaging in healthy debate and discussion on our differing views and beliefs, and agreeing to respectfully disagree, instead making every difference a reason to hate?
She's comparing him to all the corrupt billionaires behind the current democrat party - no doubt she has met many of them.
But seriously, none of them can compare to Musk's intelligence.
The only people who would call Musk unintelligent, even if they hate him, are those too dumb to understand what he's accomplished and how, along with what he's working on for the future.
@AOC and those like her can't comprehend it, so they disparage Musk constantly. Sad really.
Books are a miracle.
Someone spends thousands of hours thinking about a topic.
They compress it into a 5-hour read.
You pay next-to-nothing for life-changing ideas.
So stop scrolling your goddamn phone and dive into daily reading.
The answers are out there.
I very much relate to being exhausted trying to do it all. In this chapter of my life, I finally have the options and control to decide what I'm going to spend my time and energy on. But it's still difficult to break the old excess "productivity" go-go-go habits.
You're inspiring!
Ah, but that was under Obama, the Deporter in Chief. Obama was relatively tough in his views on illegal immigration.

It's been an odd 180 to observe in the Dems' position. It's become a mission to fight for whatever is the opposite of what Trump and his "Team America" stand for, only because it's Trump. Safety and security of our nation be damned. Very sad.
@tiffanyryderRFH Does she not realize how badly she contradicted herself? Sometimes science is wrong, but how dare you sow doubt about settled science! And these are our country's leaders. smh
@TXrancherFF@kristinawong @SecDef @PeteHegseth You mean those "anonymous" DEOCS? I never trusted them.
I'm sorry you were treated that way. Thanks for stepping up to serve once again!
