- Basse Terre (21-1) 4th dam produced Stormy Atlantic and two mares who produced US graded stakes winners on turf and dirt
- Lovcen (3-1) she is the obvious strength of the field and deserving favorite who’s 3rd dam produced the dam of Exaggerator

Early Tokyo Yushun (Japan Derby) thoughts (1/2)

- I think Forte Angelo is sitting on a big run at hopefully around 21-1
- Kafuji Emmental has some cool pedigree notes as he is half to Continuar and has Almond Eye connected to second Dam and he should be around 75-1

- Reichsadler (12-1) 3rd dam is Turn Back the Alarm and have always been high on horse
- Bereshit (19-1) mom won Japanese Oaks and 6 Graded stakes. 2nd dam has ties to Dream Core who ran 2nd in oaks last week

- sprinter build and classy walk
- ran a 90 figure on debut after completely missing start and finishing up 4th
