Qualifying Race:
In the Q1 stage, Wang Yibo took the lead in representing the team with a clear goal — to refresh his fastest single lap at the Shanghai International Circuit. In the first few laps of the qualifying competition, Wang Yibo quickly found the rhythm. In the 4th lap alone, he refreshed the fastest lap in the history of the previous competition with 2:02.064, ranking 7th overall and 3rd in the GT3 SA class. In this section, Wang Yibo completed a self-breakthrough, and also laid a good foundation for the subsequent ranking of the team.
After the sum of the fastest results of the three drivers, the UNO Racing Team Car 85 ranked 2nd overall with a total lap time of 6:02.336. At the same time, it locked the GT3 SA class pole position, winning a favorable position for the upcoming 8-hour endurance race.
Endurance Race:
After entering the station for the first time, Wang Yibo took over the racing car and continued to move forward. Affected by the short-term shower, the track entered a dry and wet state, and the difficulty of driving began to increase. In the face of complex road conditions, Wang Yibo maintained a stable performance with his excellent racing control ability. Under the condition of using dry ground tires, he still ran excellent single lap time and maintained the top three positions in the group.
In the later part of the individual stage, Wang Yibo accidentally bumped into the slow car when he overtook the 14th corner. This damaged the left front bottom plate and the small wind wing of the racing car, and the stability of the Car 85 in high-speed corners was also affected. In the face of emergencies, Wang Yibo maintained a calm and stable driving state, insisted on completing his own stick, and handed over the racing car to his teammate RIO.
In the second half of the competition, Wang Yibo ushered in his second stage. In the face of increasingly fierce competition, Wang Yibo steadily output a competitive lap speed and successfully completed his driving task in this competition. In the last 2 hours of the schedule, the competition on the field entered a heated stage. RIO and Mao Junhao took turns to fight together to reach a higher place.
