In April 2026, Senator Chris Murphy spoke at a socialist conference in Spain that was organized by Socialists International, the Center for American Progress (Neera Tanden, one of Biden’s autopen operators), and other socialist organizations.

It was reported that at some point, Chris Murphy met with the Iranians. No doubt he also met with the socialist prime minister of Spain, Pedro Sanchez, who was also in attendance. Sanchez would not allow the US to use their joint bases for the Iran operation and he closed their airspace to US aircraft.

It would be interesting to know if Chris Murphy had anything to do with those decisions.
