@Tracey_YYC@NHL They won’t because then they’ll have to give the players something valuable in exchange. Also teams could just not give them to everyone.
I’m fine with players having them, but they should lose the right to dictate where they go if they demand a trade.
@dstaples When you’re a coach who needs both the NHL and NHLPA to agree to a team being allowed to hire you, it’s probably a little more than being hated by some players.
Has anyone got more run from winning one cup, 18 years ago, than Babcock has?
@JasonGregor Next year is their chance to make it 40 full years between division title wins. They need to hold off one more year cause that’s a number we’ll never see again
@BleedOilBlue They lack cap room, draft capital (the Flames own Vegas’ next 3 first round picks if they win the cup) and prospects. Not sure how they’d make it work?
@robbgirlnumber3@MadelnCanada We can’t just leave politics out of this? The criteria should be strictly what they did on the field/rink or in Terry Fox’s case, what he did to create a movement. Not what the believe politically. And I say that as someone who disagrees completely with Trump and MAGA
@MikeBara333@chanel20482 So the way he changed the game was being short? And two middling QBs wouldn’t have gotten the opportunity to be middling without him? One of whom doesn’t really play anything like Wilson did
That’s quite a legacy…
@geoffschwartz I’ve never seen a long foul ball be the turning point in a game before. But that long foul ball seemed to completely crush the USC closer
@chanel20482@MikeBara333 No, it shows it’s not true. Good player, but how was his game different than Steve Young or Michael Vick? He was similar to those two, probably second if were ranking the three.
But please tell me how he changed the way the game is played when
@bmlong137@Gers89_@Aguirre115622 Denver re-sodded their field in November, and played an NFL game on it 9 days later with zero issues. Not sure why so many think a month in Miami, in May/June would be some issue?

@gabe24601@NHL_Muse Grant Fuhr for sure. In his entire career he only had 2 seasons with a save % over .900. He played for an offensive machine and got credit for only giving up 4 or 5 while his team put in 7.
