Congratulations to Dr. Poonam Nagar, DBT-BioCARe Scientist, #ParasiteCellBiology Group, @ICGEBNewDelhi , on her achievement at the BioMalPar XXII Conference: Biology and Pathology of the Malaria Parasite, held from May 27–29, 2026, at EMBL Heidelberg, Germany. Dr. Nagar presented her research poster titled, “Plasmodium falciparum cysteine protease falcipain 3: a potential enzyme for proteolytic processing of histone acetyltransferase PfGCN5.” Her work received the Best Poster Presentation Award, a testament to the scientific excellence and impact of her research. As part of the conference, Dr. Nagar also participated in the Women in Malaria (WiM) Workshop, engaging with researchers and leaders working to advance malaria research and promote women in science. We extend our heartfelt congratulations to Dr. Poonam Nagar for this well-deserved recognition and wish her continued success in her research endeavors.
