A big thank you to our CPB Postdoc Matt Osmond for putting together a fantastic Intro to Modeling workshop series this quarter for the Population Biology graduate students! 👏
Amazing to see everything that @tracie_hayes did this summer with her carrion beetles and mice🐭 + here’s a photo @bebenson9 took of us collecting data out at Bodega Bay! #proutfest2020
Fellow coug @jon_iguanas killing it at #proutfest2020! We got to not only learn about his work in animal behavior but also see some of his amazing photography!
@lidaanitato@k_lyberger Our 2020 Population Biology Graduate Student Retreat photo may look a little different this year, but regardless we had a great weekend getting to know the new first years.
Welcome to Population Biology!
Two weeks ago, the Population Biology graduate students welcomed the new 2020 cohort of first years at our annual (this year virtual) retreat! Included in the festivities were an indoor-outdoor scavenger hunt and mug-painting of (highly abstracted) biological concepts.
So inspired by all of the fabulous research talks today at the student only #proutfest2019 conference. Thrilled to be part of such an exciting community of population biologists. Go platypodes! @PopBioUCD@ucdavisbiology@ucdavis
